The holidays are always my favorite time of year, especially because spending time celebrating the year with friends and family takes priority over everything else. Living in Chicago without any of our relatives here, our friends have truly become our family away from home. And my favorite way to kick off the season each year is by hosting a Friendsgiving dinner.
For this year's invitation, I was inspired by the wishbone tradition and wanted to create a festive reveal that involved breaking a gold wishbone! In addition to the wishbone, I created gold foil details on navy that included a polka dot pattern inspired a night sky full of stars. I also included my No. 1 holiday wish and asked for each of my guests to submit theirs on the website that accompanied the invite... each wish was used for place settings along with the wishbone name cards. Formal invitations and holiday cards are always my favorite to receive in the mail, and I was so excited to send this holiday invite out to each special guest!
